Roundup Xtend® Herbicide with VaporGrip® Technology

Roundup Xtend Herbicide with VaporGrip Technology

The powerful herbicide weeds can’t stand

Dominate a broad spectrum of tough-to-control weeds with Roundup Xtend® herbicide with VaporGrip® Technology – a key component of the Roundup Ready Xtend® Crop System.

Controlling more weeds than any other crop system*, the Roundup Ready Ready Xtend® Crop System is an advanced weed management tool designed to help maximize weed control, quality and yield potential all while providing extra flexibility** and peace of mind.

As part of this system, Roundup Xtend with VaporGrip Technology is an easy-to-use, pre-mixed combination of glyphosate and dicamba that will save you time out in the field.

Roundup Xtend with VaporGrip Technology is now available in a 450L tote, allowing for more coverage of tough-to-control weeds than our 10L packaging option. Or, use the 10L jug for those smaller acres. No matter the size, remember to give your crop the best chance by spraying early.

Not convinced? Here’s a look at some of the other key benefits.

Broad Spectrum Weed Control

Roundup Xtend with VaporGrip Technology controls tough annual broadleaf weeds like:

  • biennial wormwood
  • redroot pigweed
  • wild buckwheat
  • Canada fleabane
  • common lamb’s quarters
  • kochia
  • narrow-leaved hawk’s beard

It also controls most annual grass weeds like green and yellow foxtail and wild oats, along with perennial weeds like Canada thistle and dandelion. Check out the complete list of controlled weeds.

Tank Mix Compatibility

Roundup Xtend with VaporGrip Technology may be tank-mixed with other herbicides to help provide up to 14 days of residual activity***, a broader spectrum of weed control and allow for an alternate effective mode of action to manage glyphosate-resistant weeds.

Volatility Reduction and Application Practices

By helping prevent the formation of dicamba acid, VaporGrip® Technology significantly minimizes dicamba’s volatility potential after spraying — providing farmers and applicators confidence in on-target application and a low-volatility dicamba product for the Roundup Ready® Xtend Crop System.

Application requirements have been developed to help reduce the potential for off-target movement on sensitive crops and other sensitive areas. For a full list of practices, including correct spray nozzles and application window guidelines, visit the Application Guidelines page.

Dicamba: A Great Partner to Glyphosate

Dicamba has decades of proven performance and is used to control a wide spectrum of broadleaf weeds. Featuring an extended application window, dicamba can be used as a burn-down, pre- and/or post-emergence residual herbicide because it is rapidly absorbed by plant leaves, stems, and roots. Other dicamba benefits include:

  • pairs well with glyphosate because of their similar rapid uptake and translocation profiles
  • offers up to 14 days of residual activity***, which helps you start clean and maximize yield potential as part of a complete weed control program
  • provides critical control during early season weed-free period
  • provides weed control performance and consistency while managing tough-to-control weeds.

Another Great Option – XtendiMax® herbicide with VaporGrip® Technology

XtendiMax with VaporGrip Technology is the low-volatility dicamba-only formulation for use within the Roundup Ready® Xtend Crop System. Have the freedom to tank mix with glyphosate to get the weed control you need.

Also available in a 10L jug and 450L tote.

**Extended application flexibility before, at and after planting.

*** On certain small-seeded broadleaf weeds. Results may vary, depending on rainfall and soil type. Always use dicamba with traditional residual herbicides in pre-emergence and post-emergence applications that have different, effective sites of action, along with other Diversified Weed Management Practices including the use of glyphosate. XtendiMax® herbicide with VaporGrip® Technology and in crop use may not be approved in all states.
