Tank Mix Compatibility
Roundup Xtend with VaporGrip Technology may be tank-mixed with other herbicides to help provide up to 14 days of residual activity***, a broader spectrum of weed control and allow for an alternate effective mode of action to manage glyphosate-resistant weeds.
Volatility Reduction and Application Practices
By helping prevent the formation of dicamba acid, VaporGrip® Technology significantly minimizes dicamba’s volatility potential after spraying — providing farmers and applicators confidence in on-target application and a low-volatility dicamba product for the Roundup Ready® Xtend Crop System.
Application requirements have been developed to help reduce the potential for off-target movement on sensitive crops and other sensitive areas. For a full list of practices, including correct spray nozzles and application window guidelines, visit the Application Guidelines page.
Dicamba: A Great Partner to Glyphosate
Dicamba has decades of proven performance and is used to control a wide spectrum of broadleaf weeds. Featuring an extended application window, dicamba can be used as a burn-down, pre- and/or post-emergence residual herbicide because it is rapidly absorbed by plant leaves, stems, and roots. Other dicamba benefits include:
- pairs well with glyphosate because of their similar rapid uptake and translocation profiles
- offers up to 14 days of residual activity***, which helps you start clean and maximize yield potential as part of a complete weed control program
- provides critical control during early season weed-free period
- provides weed control performance and consistency while managing tough-to-control weeds.
